Why International Awards for Innovation in Media?

According to a Booz Allen Hamilton study, 52% of marketers surveyed said that media partners would be more important to them by 2010.

The Awards for Innovation in Media are a response to voices in the industry calling for international examples of best practices as media takes the leadership role in the complex world of marketing strategy. Innovation is essential to today’s effective media thinking in a world where messages are becoming increasingly global.

  • This is an outgrowth of The Internationalist’s Agency Innovators issue and an acknowledgment of how marketing strategy today is affected by media strategy.
  • These will be the first international awards to be given based upon the geographic footprint of the campaign, specifically: a global campaign, a regional campaign, a local execution of a multinational campaign, and a local campaign worthy of international adaptation based upon world class standards.
